What's Included:
Delicious & Nutritious Pasture Pork
Pasture Raised! The animals are raised on pasture as nature intended. They are able to root and forage a diverse diet of plants, insects and nuts resulting in healthier and more nutritious animals.
Lean and Healthy! Pastured pork has less saturated fat, more heart-healthy polyunsaturated fats. Studies show the nutritional value of pork from pastured pigs that consume grass and forage is higher than pork from conventionally-raised pigs.
Humanely Raised Animals! Cages and confinement introduce stress into an animals life which affect its health and its final nutritional value. Our animals are raised on pasture and never confined or kept in cages. This makes for healthier and more nutritious pork.
No Vaccinations or Hormones! Our pigs do not receive any injections of any type. We raise them healthy, so they don't need it!
Small Producer! We are a small family farm that cares for the animals on a daily basis. Compare this to a large factory farms that push thousands of animals through each year.
Consistent supply of pork you TRUST! Know where and how your food is raised. Can you say that about the meat in the grocery stores?

Frequently Asked Questions:
Are any hormones or antibiotics fed to the pigs?
NO! Our pigs receive NO growth hormones, steroids, or antibiotics. We don't want any of those things in our food, either! Our pigs are healthy and don't need them.
Are your pigs kept in cages?
We keep the piglets in a large pen until they are big enough to be less threatened from predators. Once they are larger, I put them in pasture in a movable pen (i.e., a pig tractor). They always have the freedom to move around and act “piggy”!
What do your pigs eat?
While they are young I feed them pig “starter” then I give them pig “grower” they also get supplement leftovers from the garden. When they move to pasture they are free to eat what they find but I still supplement them with “grower” feed and of course, a supply of water.
Where are your animals processed?
We get our meat processed at M&M Meats in Perryville, Missouri. M&M is a well established U.S.D.A. inspected facility and reputable in our community.
How do you ship your meat frozen?
We guarantee your order to arrive fully frozen no matter where you live. We ship with an insulated box liner and dry ice to keep your beef frozen.
What if I'm not home when my box arrives?
We recommend opening it and putting your meat in the freezer as soon as possible. We will always pack extra dry ice in case you're not around. It should stay frozen until you get home that day.
